We are ready to start another great season of great books! We will dive through St. Augustine’s City of God in September and October, then move on to Bulgakov, Bernanos, Claudel and Camus.

Hi Lucy,
I’m glad to know you are interested in joining us, we’d love to have you! We all use different copies of the books we are going to read and some may already own one, so there is no particular edition you should get. You can find most of the titles on Amazon at affordable prices. St. Augustine is a pretty daunting book with over 800 pages, so if you can’t read the whole part I before our first meeting that’s ok, you can still come and enjoy the conversation! Hello again. I was planning to come Saturday. But my brother-in-law died from a long illness, and I will be in Pensacola that day for his funeral. I hope to make other meetings. Take care.

Dear Lucy,
I am so sorry for not responding sooner to your message. First of all, our deepest condolences for the loss of your brother-in-law. Second, we will not meet this month due to the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. Many of us will be traveling to visit families so we thought it would be best to push the meting back to December. So, out next meeting will be December 16th to discuss Master and Margarita. We hope you can make it then! Take care and have a happy Thanksgiving.
